| The mission of the Artistic Society Club (ASC) is to give the opportunity to all CSULA students with interest and talent in the visual arts to share their achievements, express their ideas, understand and appreciate the arts of other traditional and contemporary cultures. In this respect, the ASC will be organized in close cooperation with the Arts and Anthropology Departments, the Cross-Cultural Center and other existing student organizations at CSULA. Furthermore, the ASC will enhance contacts with national and international organizations dedicated to the promotion of ethnic, religious and racial tolerance through visual arts. For the fulfillment of its goals, the ASC will raise its own funds for the activities of the organization and for scholarships for the most prominent members of ASC through active solicitation of donations from corporate and private sources. |
